Method:
• Sift together flour and salt. Combine
the flour, salt, and water in a small mixing bowl, and whisk
until smooth and lump-free.
• Cover and rest for 30 minutes.
• Add the baking powder to the mixture and mix until incorporated.
Assembly
Method:
• Preheat a deep fryer, or a saucepan with vegetable oil,
to 400°F.
• Poke the end of a pretzel rod into the candy bars, and dip
the candy into the batter mixture.

• Immediately after removing the candy from the batter mixture,
submerge the candy into the hot oil, using the pretzel stick
as a handle.

• Fry the candy until golden brown, about 30 – 45 seconds.
• Remove and place on a paper towel to dry.

• Dust with powdered sugar, and arrange on a plate. (For demonstration
purposes, three candies were used, plated standing straight
up).

• Garnish the plate as desired, preferably with fresh fruit
and mint.

• Serve while still warm and “gooey” inside.
